SPRINGFIELD, VT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Police Sergeant
The Town of Springfield is seeking to fill an open position for a police sergeant. This is a Full-Time position with an excellent benefit package. The hiring range is $25.20-$29.51 per hour, depending upon qualifications. The maximum hourly rate is $38.22 per hour. This position is subject to rotational shifts. Successful candidates will receive the following Benefits: Health care, VMERS Plan D retirement, Three weeks’ vacation, rotating shifts, and 10% night differential. Springfield Police Department is represented by New England Police Benevolent Association Local 401.
Requirements for the position: Associates Degree and/or equivalent credits and a minimum of five years of experience in patrol and/or seven years or more full time police experience with related training or supervisory experience.
