17 officer sworn department. Also have 3 part time and 2 reserve officers as well. Call volume is roughly 800-1000 a month. Department works 8 hour shifts. We have a K9 program, ERT (Emergency Response Team), Drone team and many training opportunities.

The mission of the Princeton Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in Princeton by working in partnership with the community to enforce the law, preserve peace, reduce fear, and maintain order. The Department is committed to accomplishing its mission to protect the lives and property of all citizens of Princeton by treating every citizen with courtesy, professionalism, and respect and to enforce the laws impartially, fighting crime both through deterrence and the relentless pursuit of criminals.
