The Pittsfield Police Department is a full-time municipal law enforcement agency serving the City of Pittsfield, MA—a vibrant cultural and commercial hub of Berkshire County. With a team of 97 sworn officers and 30 civilian staff, the department provides a broad range of services supported by specialized units including K-9, Drug and Crime Scene Investigations, Traffic Enforcement, SWAT, and Community Outreach.

The department emphasizes career development and community engagement through programs like Coffee with a Cop, Citizen’s Police Academy, and Shop with a Cop.
