POLICE DETECTIVE
The New Boston Police Department is seeking applicants to fill the position of Police Detective.
The successful candidate should have relevant training and experience in conducting interviews; leading criminal investigations, including sexual assaults and juvenile crimes; processing crime scenes; preparing search and arrest warrants; and assisting Patrol Officers in their investigations.
Eligible Candidates must be a NH Certified Officer, or Certifiable by the NH Police Standards and Training Council within six months of hire.
This position is scheduled as a “4 on – 3 off” position, Sunday to Wednesday. Modifications may occur in the event of an Investigatory need.

Applicants will be required to pass a written exam, physical agility test, and an oral board interview. The successful candidate will also be required to pass a polygraph, physical examination, and psychological testing.
