Job Announcement:
Linwood Police Department is seeking applicants to fill a Class III Special Law Enforcement Officer (School Resource Officer) vacancy.
Requirements include:
- Must be a retired NJ Law Enforcement Officer who retired in good standing within the past 3 years.
- Must be a US citizen living in New Jersey.
- Must be under 65 years old, be able to read and write in English, possess a valid NJ Driver’s License, and have a clean record with no criminal convictions for offenses involving dishonesty or moral turpitude.
- Applicants must pass psychological and medical exams, along with a pre-employment drug test (per NJ AG Guidelines), and a comprehensive background check, including all current NJ PTC Licensing Requirements.
