Employment Opportunity

Police Officer (Full-Time)

The Raymond Police Department is accepting applications for:

  • Full-Time Police Officer- $62,400 to $82,114 per year based on experience.
  • * Top step after 8 years, 4% increase between steps.
  • * Experienced officers to be placed commensurate to experience.

Both positions include incentives and differentials per the CBA with Teamsters to include:

  • * Education/Military Incentives
  • * Shift Differential Pay
  • * Longevity Pay
  • * Certification Pay for specialized certifications.
  • * Annual Uniform Cleaning Allowance
  • * 11 Paid Holidays
  • * Detail pay starting at $68.00 an hour.
  • *12 hour shift, Panama style schedule

Department Opportunities, include but are not limited to:

  • * Patrol Division
  • * Leadership Division, supervisor ranks.
  • * Detectives Division
  • *Drone Unit
  • * School Resource Officer
  • * Motorcycle Unit
  • * SWAT, Southern New Hampshire Special Operation Unit.

  • * Instructor level certification opportunities.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, successfully complete a hiring process and meet the requirements of the NH Police Academy. Experience is preferred.
