DISPATCHER
The Guilford Police Department is a CALEA and State of Connecticut certified police agency that is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Dispatcher.
This is a full- time, 40 hour per week position that requires work on weekends, holidays, etc. and the successful applicant must be willing to work any shift.
A competitive wage and benefits package will be offered in accordance with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. Starting salary is $20.30 per hour.
All candidates will be required to successfully complete and pass the following:
* CPCA Dispatcher written examination – administered via PoliceApp.com.
* Applicants must pass this exam to be eligible for further consideration in the selection process.
* Oral interview.
* Thorough background investigation.
* Physical/medical examination.
Applicants must complete the on-line registration/application at PoliceApp.com, to participate in either the April 15 or April 30, 2023, CPCA Dispatcher written examinations.
Applicants must also complete a Town of Guilford Employment Application and submit to:
Human Resources, Guilford Town Hall, 31 Park Street, Guilford, CT 06437.
