EAST WINDSOR POLICE DEPARTMENT
NOW HIRING 

NJPTC CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICERS

 

The East Windsor Township Police Department is currently seeking candidates for the position of Probationary Police Officer.

Minimum Requirements 

  1. Be a citizen of the United States of America
  2. Be a resident of the State of New Jersey at time of appointment
  3. Be more than 21 and less than 35 years of age at time of appointment
  4. Be sound in body and of good health sufficient to satisfy the Board of Trustees of the Police Retirement System of New Jersey that such person is eligible for membership in the retirement system
  5. Be able to read, write and speak the English language well and intelligently
  6. Be of good moral character and must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude
  7. Possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license
  8. Applicants must possess a Full New Jersey Police Training Commission Certification for Basic Course for Police Officers.  Applicants currently attending a NJPTC certified police academy who anticipate receiving certification and those with certification for the Basic Course for Class Two Special Law Enforcement Officers who are NJPTC Waiver Eligible will also be considered.
