St. Johnsbury Police Department

The St. Johnsbury Police Department is a community-focused law enforcement agency committed to public safety, crime prevention, and enforcement of local and state laws. Our officers maintain visible patrols, provide rapid emergency response, and build meaningful partnerships that foster a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

The Department patrols the Town’s Special Services District, encompassing approximately two square miles of vibrant downtown, residential neighborhoods, and commercial areas. This compact, engaged service area allows officers to build strong community relationships while gaining diverse policing experience.

We will work to preserve the constitutional rights of all citizens with unwavering dedication. Crime prevention through proactive and community-based policing will be our priority.
