Part-Time School Crossing Guard

The Galloway Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for Part-Time School Crossing Guards for the upcoming school year.

School Crossing Guards play a vital role in ensuring the safety of students and pedestrians traveling to and from school. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and making a positive impact in the community.

No prior experience is required. The Galloway Township Police Department will provide all required training and equipment.

Schedule

Crossing Guards work on scheduled school days from September through June. Typical shifts consist of:

  • One- or two-hour morning shift
  • One- or two-hour afternoon shift

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $17.00 per hour
