SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
• Three (3) years of emergency services dispatching experience.
• Possession of Georgia Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) certification through the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC).
• Possession of Communications Officer certification in Georgia as issued by the Peace Officers Standards and Training Council.
• Two (2) years of prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
